"Serve one another in love." Galatians 5:13
Natural disasters can destroy communities and devastate families in a matter of moments. Brethren Disaster Ministries works to help the most vulnerable survivors pick up the pieces and rebuild their homes. By demonstrating Christ's love and putting faith into action, our dedicated volunteers help restore communities and repair broken lives. New volunteers of all backgrounds, ages and experience levels are always encouraged to join the BDM Team. Trained project directors at each site provide leadership and instruction for volunteers. All travel, housing and meal costs are provided by Brethren Disaster Ministries. Funding for BDM comes through generous support from the Southern Ohio District Churches along with contributions from individuals and through fundraising events.
