Its an unfortunate fact that we have to take more and more precautions to insure the safety of the young children within our ministry. Many insurance companies have begun to require churches to adopt policies which require that our ministry volunteers have background checks. Even if your insurance company has not yet implemented such a policy, many younger parents feel more secure leaving their children in our care if we have such a policy.
But how do we go about running a background check? And how much does it cost? Well . . . The Southern Ohio District has negotiated a discounted rate with a company which performs this service. We will gladly offer you our discounted rate of $10.00.
