It takes resources to carry out the ministry of our district.  The Resource Development Commission works on obtaining these resources through stewardship education, donor development, consideration of grants and other sources of resources, and through other means. 

New Developments

This commission has been looking at ways we can support our bi-vocational pastor's needs in the area of continuing education. They have decided to offer a three way partnership between the District, the local church and the pastor to assist in paying for needed CEUs. Pastors needing assistance may make an application to the District for financial assistance for a class at seminary or an approved class online. The District will notify the congregation of the request and ask the congregation to put up 1/3 and the District would also put up 1/3. The pastor will be responsible for the remaining 1/3. Our Grant Writing Team will seek support for continuing ed through grants.
